Lack of employee in Dadeldhura-डडेलधुरा प्रशासनमै छैनन् कर्मचारी

Dadeldhura, 17th Poush: There is a problem in the service flow at the District Administration Office, Dadeldhura, due to the non-availability of employees according to the roster. The office is facing delays in performing regular tasks when employees according to the roster are absent.

According to Deputy Chief Chandrabahadur Rokaya at the office, there are 20 employees on leave as per the roster. He stated, "Currently, only 14 employees are actively working, and if the leave of the remaining 6 employees continues, it will create significant issues in the service flow."

At the Dadeldhura District Administration Office, there is one Chief District Officer at the secretary level, one Assistant Chief District Officer at the under-secretary level, two administrative officers at the officer level, four deputy subbas, and others, including office assistants and drivers, making a total of 20 employees on leave. However, the positions of Assistant Chief District Officer, two administrative officers, and three deputy subbas have been vacant for a long time.

Chief District Officer Anjan Neupane also mentioned that the leave is not according to the hierarchy. When the leave of Assistant Chief District Officer, two administrative officers, and three deputy subbas remains vacant, it creates difficulties in the regular functioning of the office.

Service recipients are obliged to wait for an extended period in line until they receive services. Rokaya expressed concerns about the issues in the service flow. Until Dasain, Jitendra Ojha was working as a senior officer. Currently, he has been appointed as the Chief Administrative Officer in Ajaymeru Rural Municipality.

After Ojha's appointment, the Dadeldhura District Administration Office has not been able to fill the position of one administrative officer. Due to the challenges in office operations, the responsibility has been given to the Dadeldhura Election Office's Election Officer Karunakar Awasthi.

After Chief District Officer Neupane went out of the district, Awasthi has also been given the additional responsibility of the Chief District Officer. In the crowded office where there is a shortage of employees as per the roster, Assistant Chief District Officer Awasthi mentioned the difficulties in the service flow.

Daily service recipients visit the office to make citizenship, passport, and national identity cards. The office also has responsibilities for market monitoring and disaster management.
