Hezbollah reports the deaths of four fighters in southern Lebanon, including a prominent local leader.
A local leader was among the four Hezbollah fighters killed overnight, according to a source close to the group. The statement mentioned that the deaths occurred "on the road to Jerusalem," a phrase previously used by Hezbollah to announce casualties from Israeli actions since the Israel-Hamas conflict began on October 7. While the group did not provide details, an AFP source close to Hezbollah stated that the incident took place in Naqura near the Israeli border, with one of the casualties being the movement's local leader. Lebanon's National News Agency reported Israeli airstrikes in Naqura damaging homes, including the destruction of one. Additionally, Hezbollah had announced the deaths of five other fighters in southern Lebanon on Wednesday.
